Gatherer's Flail
gatherer_flailThe flail of the Gatherer: a clump of diamond hail on a frost-iron chain, and in the clump, in a cracked shell of methane ice, the Cryo Heart — still warm in the very middle. The Cryo Monarch grew by gathering the hail into himself; the heart has not lost the habit.|Throw the hail out, and it comes back to you, and whatever stands in its way learns how cold the Long Night was.
Gear
Survival: hail rolls to you from all sides and sets as an ice shield.
Gathering of Hail. Whirl the flail and throw its hail out: hailstones, 6 of them, land in a ring 6 blocks around you, lie for 0.5 s and roll back to you, following you wherever you go. A foe in the way is struck for 5 and frozen, and the stone breaks on it; a stone that reaches you sets on you as an ice shield of 1.5 absorption, 12 at most, for 15 s from the throw. In a crowd the hail strikes; alone, it shields.
- Mastery 2: more hail
- Mastery 3: heavier hail rolls through foes
- Mastery 4: a thicker shield, recharges in 20 s
- Mastery 5: the gathered cold bursts out
Made at a workbench around the Cryo Heart, the heart of the Cryo Monarch: two diamond druses for the hail, an iron chain and a grip.
