Hypha Whip
hypha_whipA lash of strangler hyphae on the stalk of a mushroom, bound in the colonists' verdigris. It does not hang like a rope: it lifts its head and feels the air for anything that breathes.|Thrown, it closes three long fingers on its prey, as a strangler does on a helmet, and pulls it close. Then it does not let go: whatever it caught can run only as far as the lash allows.
Gear
Control: catch a foe, poison it and keep it on a leash.
Strangler's Grasp. Throw the lash at a foe up to 10 blocks away: it strikes for 3, poisons the foe, pulls it to you and holds it on a leash for 4 s — it cannot get further than 4 blocks from you.
