Against Shades: light cuts Shades of Hunger twice as deep; around it light does not go out.
Dawn. Raise the lantern: dawn floods 8 blocks — Shades burn for 10 and flee, other foes are dazzled for 2 s, lamps light up again. In your hand it cuts Shades ×2; within 5 blocks of it a Shade burns, lamps do not go out and darkness does not fall. Against anything else it is a weak blade.
