Small Gates. Set two small gates: one before you, the other where you look (up to 10 blocks). For 6 s a step into one leads out of the other — there and back. A threshold does not ask who crosses: a foe who steps in after you comes out beside you.

Made at a workbench around the Threshold Key, the heart of the Gatekeeper. One victory gives one heart: the first usually goes into the interstellar drive, so the staff comes with the second (the Gatekeeper can be called again).
