Gold Skimmer
passive
A water strider that runs on molten gold. Its feet are shod in gilded skis that never sink, and with its forelegs it skims the cooling film off the sea and rolls it into a glowing bead on its back. Harmless and skittish: one step too close and it darts away across the gold, leaving dimples behind.
