Ring Keeper

An ice gatherer of the cloud tops beneath the rings: tall, slender, pale gold and banded like the planet itself, with gliding membranes between the arms and the body. A ring of ice grains circles the head of every Ring Keeper, and the older the keeper, the wider the ring. They catch the falling ring ice in nets before it sinks into the clouds and live on floes of it.
