Cloud Dweller

A people of the cool cloud deck of Venus. Their ancestors drifted under living bubbles until the great storms tore them; the bubble is still their head, glowing softly from within. They never learned to love the ground — acid settles in every hollow — so they walk on stilt legs, build on piles, and respect each other by how high they live.
