A Create mechanical arm lays a thing on an empty plinth of a Confluence altar and lifts it off — the same way a fluxionist's hand does: with a sound and word to the Heart; a thing held by the Confluence stream it will not touch. Into a Crucible the arm drops things one at a time, as if thrown by hand: the Crucible dissolves and brews them by its own rules.
The arm does not begin a Confluence: the fluxionist begins it — with his own knowledge and his own touch. Crucible recipes locked behind knowledge the arm will not brew: it has no knowledge.
