The Bosun's Pipe commands automatons: call them along, leave them working here, send them back to the Slipway. A whistle is a signal to your automatons within 24 blocks; on an automaton — to it alone. Sneak and whistle into the air to change the signal: "Follow me", "Stay here" (home is where it stands; it works around), "To the Slipway" and "Follow and gather".

The pipe in hand shows the circles of the sigils around and the path between them — marks closer than eight blocks are joined by a dashed line — and over your automatons a diamond in the color of their signal. Sneak and use the pipe on your automaton: it folds into its item with everything it carried. Next: "The Porter" and "Tally Ledger".
