Float Lanterns

Float lanterns are light on the water: set them from the bank straight onto the surface, and a pond or a canal glows in sixteen colors. Fluxionists cast no candles: honeycomb wax goes into a raft, and above it sits a lantern of colored paper.

A float needs Tide: by a river or the sea it costs nothing, in a dry place it takes a Tide shard.
