The Fluxionist's Garb makes crafting and casting cheaper: the thread in the weave catches the flux that the Flux Workbench and the Conduit would spill. Wool stitched with a thread of fluxsteel is flux cloth; sewn into clothes, it barely protects, but it spares: the coat an eighth of the flux, the trousers a little less, the boots less still; Diviner's Spectacles do too.

Thrift adds up, but never past half: crafting on the Flux Workbench and casting with the Conduit never cost less than half the price. It does not spare the shards paid for the currents of the place. The flux thread also damps spells — potions of harming, witches, an evoker's fangs: a tenth for each piece — and keeps murk off: Clouding and Silting last shorter, and on the whole garb they do not take hold.

The garb takes dye like leather armor: put it with a dye on a crafting table — the cloth takes the color, while the brass, the leather and the flux thread stay their own; the coat, the trousers and the gaiters of the boots are dyed apart. A cauldron of water washes the dye out.
