A fighter's arms: Hooks strike up close, Slings from afar, Plating takes the blows. Hooks hit hard and knock back, but cannot carry.

Slings throw stones from afar: a fighter with Slings keeps ten blocks away and never closes in. The stones are its own: give the automaton gravel or cobblestone (up to a stack of one kind); without them the Slings stay silent, and the Loupe says "Slings empty". One throw, one stone.

Plating means more armor and a heavier step; it does not go with Brittle.
