Silt Compost takes murk away around a farm and gives Farmer's Delight rich soil: while the chunk holds murk, every random tick it drinks some (up to 0.3) and ripens, and ripe it turns into rich soil. Put it by a workshop with a Crucible and retorts — and the Silt from the Settling Tank finds a use.
In a clean chunk it ripens by itself, six times slower. While it drinks, wisps of murk drift into it. A compost's whole life drinks about 2 murk; in the Stillness, where nothing flows, it does not rot.

How to make it: Farmer's Delight organic compost, two Silt and bone meal on a crafting table. Silt is the caught murk of retorts; in compost it rots into soil and pulls the murk around along with it.
