A Hothouse Lantern makes crops, saplings and berries around it grow faster, day and night: every three seconds it pushes one plant within four blocks a stage on, and its warm light keeps crops from sleeping. Feed it Root distillate from a siphon above: a stage costs half a part.
A Nesting Lantern breeds animals without hand feeding: every ten seconds it brings together an adult pair of one kind within six blocks, for two parts of Fang from a siphon above. It leaves the young, those resting after a litter and the untamed alone.
A farm does not grow without end: a kind that has twelve head in the circle is not bred, and with thirty-two animals around nothing is. The Hothouse Lantern leaves the fluxionist's own crops — Current Crops and Still Rye — alone: they keep their own rules of growth. A broken lantern gives what it holds back to the land as murk.
