The Lined Satchel is 54 slots that are always with you — on a trek, in a mine, on a building site. Whatever doesn't fit in your inventory slips into it by itself, and the workshop takes from it as from your hands: the lens wheel sees the lenses in it, the Flux Workbench pays with its shards, the Strata Spade and the Flux Trowel lay its blocks.
Open the satchel with its key («Open Lined Satchel» in Controls) or use it in hand; the same key closes the window. With a slot mod it is worn in the back slot; without one it works from the inventory, and the first one counts. The window has two buttons: «Stack and sort» and pickup — turn pickup off if the satchel should only hold what you put in yourself.
The satchel goes into no satchel, shulker box or bundle, and shulker boxes and bundles don't go into it. Its things live in the satchel itself: it carries them into a chest, onto the ground and through death, and if it burns or blows up it drops everything it held. While its window is open, its slot in your inventory is strapped shut.
The lining is flux cloth quilted to the pattern of a skein's inner side. In a skein the same pattern folds a whole Bower; in a satchel it folds only a span, but a span is enough for the inside to be larger than the outside. Lay your hand on the lining: it is faintly warm and draws you in, like water under a jetty.
