The Tally Wheel shows what an ME network holds without opening a terminal: above the lens floats the Wheel — a rune for every current in the network, larger and brighter where it is fuller, the fullest in the middle. Set it in the workshop with an AE2 cable, and you see what runs low.
The Loupe on it reads the count: how many currents, how many parts and which is the most. A comparator by the block gives how many currents the network holds (up to 15) — a signal for the workshop's redstone.
