Chorus Sprout

In 1968 the biologist Aristid Lindenmayer described the growth of plants as rules that every branch repeats. Chorus keeps the simplest rule of all: grow a cube, branch at a right angle. In the Hive it sprouts from the seams between the comb caps, dark against the purpur, with pale buds on three branches.
