Set: Faceted Plate. Against archers: the facets return each projectile as a beam of light. Heavy slabs: every piece slows your step, and a blow up close finds no facet to slide on.
- 2 pieces: The facets take projectiles: their damage is 30% lower, and an archer you can see within 24 blocks is struck back by a beam of 60% of the damage.
- 4 pieces: In the light the facets are harder: armor toughness +3. The ringing of the Facet does not shake them: resonance hurts 60% less.

Plates of mountain crystal split along their own planes and set at angles, the way the mountains of the Facet stand. What strikes a facet does not stop: it slides along it, and a bolt of light leaves by the other side.|Golems are built the same way. Facetkin say the armor is a golem that agreed to carry someone.
