Golden Fern
gold_fernIn 2013 gold was found in the leaves of Australian eucalyptus trees: their roots reach tens of meters down and drink water with gold dissolved in it. This fern drinks the melt itself, and the gold comes out on its fronds where an Earth fern keeps its spores, in rows of golden dots.
