Void Wyrmling

A hatchling of the Nest that never grew up: it still wears a cap of firstshell on its brow and a shard of it on its back. Wyrmlings hatch from the small clutch in the middle of the bowl and hunt over it in twos and threes; the lilac haze in the hollows does not burn them. Hit one, and it blinks behind you.
