The Still Brink is the lower reach of the Quickstream, where the flow stops: the races here are slow and glassy, and their ends fall into the haze as frozen falls. Here the Stillness is closest — bent grass, Still Grains in drifts — but the way into the Stillness itself does not start here: it goes through the Gauge Ring.
