A Chart Table shows the flux around as a map: where it is full, where drained, where flooded or murky — and where to set a workshop. Parchment is stretched on a dark oak table, and an opal alidade lens on a brass arm sweeps above it; a chart of the nine by nine chunks around rises on the parchment: deep turquoise is full flux, pale sand is dried out, gold is a flood above the bed, a violet bloom is murk.

Strokes show where the flux flows — toward the neighbor that has less — and drops run along them. The table's own chunk is framed in gold. North on the chart is north in the world. Where to set a workshop and a Catchment is clear at a glance.
