Pages of the entry
The Codex of Currents is your path through fluxion: what to build, where to look, what to beware of and what to study next. It remembers everything you have read with the Loupe and opens by itself at an entry you can already study. Make a Loupe first: only the Loupe brings the Codex knowledge. The opaline for its glass is mined deep underground, near the deepslate.
Every entry asks for knowledge. Some want notes of their chapter, some want things read with the Loupe, some want currents revealed. Notes come from reading: the first meeting with a thing leaves fresh lines in the margins. When an entry has enough, press Study — the notes soak into the text, the entry opens in full, and the next ones surface behind it.
Entries are joined by streams: what you have studied flows toward what follows from it. Drag the page to travel along the bed. The chapters on the left stay sealed while you know little: Basics is open at once, Alchemy, Artifice, the Conduit, Confluence and Automata will surface later, and the Stillness shows two warning entries from the start — their turn comes when the world itself reminds you of them. A pinch of quickdust woke the shelf, and its books ran together into a single notebook: its ink never dries — it flows and arranges itself into lines.
