The Edge of the Beat

A warning: past fifty measures of Dissonance the world sometimes stops entirely — the Halt, an echo of the Great Stilling in a single mind. Drops hang, sound dies, only your heart can be heard. It passes. But each one leaves a place in memory where nothing flows, and the mind returns there on its own.

This is where the road of the Order begins: whoever stops arguing with the beat one day seeks the way into the Stillness on their own. Only the Stillness leaves Deep Dissonance, and only there can it be understood to the end.
