A Gale Ring gives a dash in the air — wherever you look. A tiny brass vane sits on the band. Press jump in the air and the wind throws you forward, not up. One dash per flight, again after a short rest. Next: "Inquirer's Browband", "Bloom Charm", "Last-Minute Watch" and "Swift Feather".
Bond: a trinket with an effect grows by its own deed — a Gale Ring by dashes, a Locket by the charge it pours, belts by walking and by waves. Every bond brings a bead, and you set the bead into one of the trinket's numbers: dash reach, rest, rhythm. At bond five comes the turn: a new skill of the same deed. Right-click with the trinket in hand, or press Bond on the details screen, to open the bond window. It grows only while worn; the beads can be unstrung for experience levels and set anew.
