The Gorge Ring holds a whole quarry of one block: tune it to stone, dirt, gravel or planks and everything above one stack goes inside — up to 100,000 blocks — and the stack in your inventory is topped up again when it runs low. For a digger, an empty inventory; for a builder, stock at hand: the Strata Spade and the Flux Trowel take blocks from it.
Use it on a block: an empty ring tunes to it, a filled one places a block from itself, the way a hand places from a stack. Sneak and use it to switch modes: asleep, gathering, grinding. In a window, a stack of the block onto the ring puts it in; a right click takes a stack out. It works worn in a ring slot or lying in the inventory.
A grinding Gorge Ring turns cheap stone and earth — cobblestone, gravel, cobbled deepslate, netherrack — into the chunk's murk: a pinch per stack, the way a dredge grinds its spoil. A full gathering ring grinds such surplus too and leaves anything of worth in your inventory. The ring takes only simple blocks with no data of their own: anything renamed or holding something stays with you.
