A Hush Fork lifts Ripple and some Dissonance anywhere, with no hushed water — if you hear the ring out. Copper tines, an amethyst shard and Lattice at the Flux Workbench. Strike the fork and stand while it rings: when it fades, all Ripple leaves you and two measures of Dissonance, four under the Hush. One step cuts the ring short, and it is wasted. The fork dulls with every ring heard to the end.
