The Lens Blank is the second step of lenses: it takes a lens with two carriers woven into a conjunction and three actions. A trap that digs the layer beneath it, a furrow through stone, lode moths, a skipping droplet, a cloud on wings — all of these are within its reach; only a great blank holds three-carrier conjunctions.
It is grown by Confluence: a small blank in the middle, two opaline, two speculum sheets and an amethyst shard on the plinths; Prism, Lattice and Weave, a mid Confluence. A cut small lens in the middle grows together with its cut — no need to cut it again.

LatticeTwenty facets against a small blank's twelve. The bronze rim holds the glass steadier: the lens leaves murk only every sixteenth cast, and its cooldown grows a quarter slower with facets.
