The Crucible also brews what a brewing stand cannot: haste, resistance, absorption, health boost, dolphin's grace, luck — effects the world gives only through a beacon, a golden apple or a raid. The price is murk: every such potion leaves a share of murk in the land by the Crucible.
Brew, levels and forms are as with every potion: stronger is twice the lead current, longer is Tempo, to throw is Blast, a cloud takes Weave as well. The murk price is written under every recipe. No second level: bad luck, mining fatigue, glowing, the Hero of the Village, conduit power, dolphin's grace, blindness, nausea, darkness. No long form: saturation, levitation, the Hero of the Village, hunger, withering, darkness.
Work and grit: haste to dig and chop faster, resistance to take less damage, absorption for hearts beyond your own.
Health and fullness: health boost raises your limit of hearts, saturation feeds you at once — fullness without food.
The sea: dolphin's grace to swim fast, conduit power to breathe, see and dig underwater. Conduit power murks twice as much.
Luck — Halo and Want: the world's current carries you to what you want, and rare finds in structure chests turn up more often. Halo is rare — shards and crystals of currents give it; the second level takes twice as much.
The Crucible brews the Hero of the Village weaker than a raid gives it: the first level for two minutes — Kin, Want and Ward — with twice the murk.
For enemies — brew them as splash potions: bad luck takes luck away, mining fatigue weighs down the arm with the pick, blindness puts out the sight.
More for enemies: nausea makes the view swim, hunger eats fullness away, withering blackens hearts and wounds.
Darkness dims the light in waves; glowing outlines a target — it shows even through walls; levitation lifts into the air, but briefly: a long rise would kill on the fall.
Not brewed: Bad Omen — an ominous bottle gives it, and the raid and trial omens follow from it; the Breath of the Nautilus — the same water breathing, and a nautilus gives it.
The Reckoners held that every effect is a current, and every current can be poured into a bottle. The world does not argue with them, nor does it forgive: what it gives only for labor comes out of the Crucible with murk.
