Still Rye

Still rye grows still grains and ergot in a garden bed — no trip to the Stillness. Wheat seeds, four still grains on the plinths, Still and Root — and the Confluence gives a seed of still rye. Sow it on farmland like wheat, but the rye grows only in calm: while nothing moves within eight blocks — not you, not a beast, not a fish. It does not take bone meal.

A ripe ear gives seeds, still grains and, rarely, still ergot — a black horn. Whoever eats the ergot sees the still hour: they remember the Stillness, but Ripple knocks the mind off its beat.
