A tally cell keeps currents in an ME network: put it in an ME Drive or ME Chest, and the AE2 terminal shows the runes of currents beside items. A 1k cell holds about 8,000 parts of one current — five Gyres; up to 18 currents per cell, 8 parts per byte. An ordinary cell takes no Murk.

A vial at the terminal works like a bucket with fluids: a vial on a current in the terminal fills (a click — one part, with Shift — as much as fits, up to 8), a filled one on the terminal pours out as much as the network takes. A vial also sets a current in the slots of current buses, the Interface and a processing pattern.

A cell is a housing and an AE2 storage component of the same size, on a crafting table; the housing is made on the Flux Workbench. Sneak-use an empty cell to take it apart again. A full cell does not sink in a Crucible and the Loupe does not read it: what is reckoned is not poured.
