The Font keeps hushed water around itself on its own — a lasting place to lift Dissonance. The Reckoners' weirkeepers carved fonts from flowstone. Pour a bucket of water into the Font and drop in a pinch of Hush Salt: the salt melts, the water rises to the rim, the runes light up, and a few breaths later the Font brims over from its four spouts.

Hushed water settles on the eight spots around the Font, but only where it has nowhere to run: each spot needs a floor, and the ring needs a rim. Lay a low stone basin around the Font and it will always hold hushed water. One pinch, one brimming; the water in the Font stays. Scoop a spot out and the Font fills it again while salt is left. It holds up to four pinches.
