Five totems keep a yard and a farm:
Totem of the Fold — animals do not wander off or vanish.
Totem of Concord — no one starts a fight.
Totem of Tally — no more creatures than the limit.
Totem of the Sprout — crops grow even in the dark.
Totem of Clean Ground — mire does not creep onto the garden.
A Totem of the Fold is a pasture without a fence: creatures in its circle do not step out and do not vanish, even a wandering trader.
You can lead an animal out on a lead, ride it or carry it in a cart. Monsters do not leave either, but they vanish as usual. Break the totem or put it to sleep, and three seconds later everyone is free.
Cost: 0.002 flux per creature every 2 seconds.
A Totem of Concord keeps the peace: in its circle endermen, bees, wolves, polar bears, zombified piglins and iron golems do not turn on you, piglins do not mind opened chests and mined gold, foxes and wolves leave the livestock alone, and players cannot hurt each other.
Anger waits beyond the edge: step out and it comes back. The totem does not hold the born malice of monsters — a ward circle and a Totem of Vigil are for that.
Cost: 0.2 flux per quarrel; a player's blow at a player costs nothing.
A Totem of Tally keeps a farm from choking the world: no more creatures live in its circle than three per block of radius — 24 at radius 8. Past that nothing is born: not from breeding, eggs, monster spawners or by itself.
The totem counts every 5 seconds; the Loupe shows how many creatures are in the circle and how many may be. Breeding past the limit gives no young — the love simply passes.
Cost: 0.1 flux per birth held.
A Totem of the Sprout makes a farm underground: crops, saplings, sweet berries and pumpkin and melon stems in its circle grow in darkness as they do in sunlight and do not wither without light.
They do not grow faster: a nourishing circle hurries growth. Where a Totem of Constancy stands nearby, nothing grows.
Cost: 0.02 flux per growth in the dark.
A Totem of Clean Ground holds the mire at the edge: it does not spread onto blocks in its circle even in a murky chunk — the garden and the pond by a dirty workshop stay clean while you set up a Purifier.
The totem does not clean the murk, and mire already in the circle rolls back by itself once the murk is gone.
Cost: 0.05 flux per thing held.
