Waders are boots for water and rivers: while charged you walk on still water — a river, a lake, the sea — as on land, and faster on its surface; you swim easier in them, go faster along the current, step higher and fall softer. Crouch to sink in, and climb back on top at the bank; a fall onto the surface does not hurt. Waxed leather to the thigh, a thread of fluxsteel along the seams. They give almost no protection, and without charge they are only boots.

A Charging Basin or a Flux Locket fills the charge. How much is left shows in the boots' tooltip and as a bar on the icon. Next come "Spring Tools", and after them "Weavings".
