A wootz retort not only makes no murk but adds: the place's currents yield extra parts in distillation. Reforge a bright retort in wootz. Each part of a current that is among the place's currents has a one-in-five chance to give another — for one flux of the chunk; when the chunk is drained there is no bonus. The Loupe reads the place's currents when aimed at empty air.
