Ember Pickaxe

The points of this pick never cool: Ember sleeps in the head like coals under ash. It sets alight what it strikes, and the ore it breaks sometimes runs out already molten.|It listens, too — strike the rock and the veins around answer; and the ore it breaks comes out half washed, as if from a sluice.
