Pages of the entry

1

Spring Tools are fluxsteel with a Spring melted in: twice as durable, and each has its own ability — the axe fells whole trunks, the pickaxe smelts part of what it digs, the shovel lays a layer of blocks. A fluxsteel tool on the central plinth, two shards of a Spring around it: the Confluence pours the Spring into the steel itself. The tools grow in mastery not by fighting but by work: ore, logs, soil.

2

Tide Axe: while you hold the button, loose things swim to you on a stream; it fells whole trunks. Ember Pickaxe: sets alight what it strikes, hears the ores around, washes half the raw ore into concentrate (it is born with the Echo Sounder and Panning weavings) and smelts part of what it breaks.

3

Gale Blade: raised, it lowers you on the wind and throws back whoever crowds you. Strata Spade: lays a whole layer of blocks from your inventory across a face.

4

Pole Hoe: Lattice tills a whole bed at once, Fray takes overgrowth apart into bone meal. Sneak and use it in the air to change the pole. The next entry is "Weavings": properties of flux for any tool and armor.
