Basker

Calm round beasts of the Simmering Dell: where a basker sits, the spring is warm. It sits in the springs for hours, up to its eyes, half asleep; steam rises off its back, and the dell's moss grows in its fur. It means no harm — startled, it only jumps up with a splash.
