Dustfin

Cross the Drained Isles on stone or planks: a dustfin swims only through dry earth, circles whoever walks the dust and strikes from below, and its bite leaves you hungry. When the Tollkeepers dammed the races, the fish of the dried beds did not die but learned to swim in dust; killed, a dustfin gives back to the land the current it held.
