Mirebearer

A Sunken bearer, broad and stooped, with a living Mire Hummock grown into the shoulders of his back. He walks to the nearest murky water and plants the hummock there, and it takes root as a new knot of mire; kill him first and the hummock dries to Silt. A blow of his fists on the ground sends threads to bind the legs.
