Bindwax locks a vessel: a sealed vessel neither gives nor takes, and a store of distillate will not run off through the siphons. Bind is the current of snares and ties, Root that of plants; brewed together on honeycomb, they give bindwax: soft, dark as honey, sticking to the fingers.
