Pages of the entry
Bound Spring Tools serve without end: at rest — off the hand, in a lively chunk above three quarters of its bed — they mend themselves, a point every four seconds, and in the Stillness they do not wear at all: time stands there. Their ability and mastery stay as they were — the binding does not erase what the tool has learned. The price is Dissonance while the tool is in hand.
A great Confluence: a Spring Tool on the central plinth; around it a Hubstone, two stillmetal ingots and a thing of its Spring. The Confluence breaks the Hubstone's spoke of that same Spring; the hoe needs both Pole spokes. A bound tool is tougher than before and strikes a little harder.
