A Brewing Tower brews Crucible recipes on its own: feed it by siphon, give it catalysts and take what is made; it needs neither water nor fire. Set a Crucible on a fluxsteel retort and throw a pinch of quickdust on it: the retort becomes the firebox, the Crucible the dome, and together they wake as a Brewing Tower. The Crucible's distillate passes into the dome.
The tower brews the Crucible recipes it remembers. Strike it with a recipe's catalyst and it remembers the most demanding one you know; sneaking with an empty hand makes it forget the last one. The tower itself remembers one recipe, each abacus beside it two more. The tower brews no creatures: a glint needs the Crucible.
A siphon over the dome pours only what the remembered recipes need — no more than two brews' worth. Catalysts go in by hand or by a hopper from the side or top, the brew comes out by an empty hand or a hopper below. The tower needs no water and no fire: the chunk's flux heats each brew, and on drained land the tower stands still.
The whole tower is on the diagram: the retort below, the Crucible on it, abacuses at the sides of both halves, hoppers behind and below. "Place ghost" sets it in the world where you look: build along it, then sprinkle a pinch of quickdust on the Crucible.
