Cradle of Currents

The Cradle of Currents is a creature farm without a pen: it casts a creature from its imprint out of distillate of its currents. Three lumps of clay in a row make two raw Imprint Tablets. Press a tablet to a living creature: the creature is unharmed, and the clay dries with its imprint. Hosts, guardians and people give no imprint.

The cradle is made by Confluence from a Brewing Tower, terracotta, clay, an egg and gold. Set the tablet in its head and pour the distillate of the creature's currents from above — as much as the loupe hears in it. In the dark the cradle casts it at its foot.

No more than six of a kind stand near a cradle. The cast remember no life and give no experience. Every birth leaves a pinch of murk in the land: a farm needs a Purifier.
