The Lumenhart gives Lumenash Charcoal without a single lumenash felled: every five to ten minutes an adult sheds a Lumenhart Antler, and a Flux Forge burns the antler into charcoal for brightsteel. Lumenash trees clean the murk — better leave them growing. The deer walk in herds and follow Rippleleaf held in hand; startle one, and you startle them all. At night the buds on their antlers glow.
At night Willowkin step out of the strands of the weeping willows and walk the grove. They leave you be while you leave the grove be: fell a willow or a lumenash at night, and every Willowkin within twenty-four steps comes for you; their blow lashes with strands and binds the legs. At dawn a Willowkin takes root and grows into a willow sapling — that is how the floodplain regrows by itself.
