The Hubstone is the key to the strongest things of fluxion: the Crown of the Wheel, the Rewind Weight, the Watch of the Unmoving and the Self-Rising Loaf ask for its spokes, and the Wheel Conduit and the Wheel Mattock for a whole one. It is a knot where six currents meet: four spokes of the Springs and two spokes of the Poles. An intact spoke burns as a crystal of its current; a broken one is a dark stub by the ring.
