Speculum is the metal of optics and casings: bronze bands and mirrors, pendants and watches, Dam armor, the Gauge Rod and automaton hulls are made of it. An antimony regulus alloyed with copper gives a bronze so bright you can see yourself in it, as in a mirror. There is no magic here: three copper ingots and a regulus are mixed into a charge on a crafting table, and the charge is smelted in a furnace.

Speculum goes into optics and cases: the Flux Workbench rolls ingots into sheets — three ingots, three sheets. Nine ingots pack into a block and part again.
