Stamp Mill

A Stamp Mill stamps shards of the six primal currents into Current Grit without dropping anvils — and more generously: four pinches a shard instead of three. Three pestles strike in time, one after another, and every third blow crumbles a shard. Shards go in by hand or by a hopper above or at the side; the grit comes out by an empty hand or a hopper below.

Cog distillate turns the cam shaft: a siphon above pours it into the brass cup on the beam, a part per shard. While there is a shard in the trough, Cog in the cup and room in the box, the rune band on the shaft glows and the mill thumps; when one runs out, it stops.
