Flight in the Stillness
The Freshet Mantle will carry you in the Stillness too. After the Restart, read the Restart Sluice where the Restart happened with the Loupe.
How to open it
- Read with the Loupe:
sluice_beat - Notes: The Stillness — 2
- After the entries:
The Restart, Freshet Garb
Pages of the entry
Studying this entry opens the Freshet Garb's flight in the Stillness — for you alone. Before the Restart the mantle is cold here for everyone; after it, it carries only those who have reached the beating sluice themselves: read the Restart Sluice by the founder's dais — the one where the Restart happened — with the Loupe, and study this entry. The sluices of thaw patches do not give this knowledge.
Drift
TempoWhile the Stillness stood, freshet steel remembered how to stand and went cold in it. The Restart moved the hour: the beating sluice drives a faint current through the halls, and the mantle that hears it remembers that water runs here too.
