Kitchen of Currents: Farmer's Delight
The Farmer's Delight branch: aptitude dishes for 8 minutes, current spices from the board, feasts for four, Lumenash Brew against murk, Emberbell Stew, Glowbloom Tea, Silt Compost, Hush Broth from the Crucible and an Ember Orb under the pot.
For Minecraft 26.3 there is Farmer's Delight Refabricated for Fabric. The unofficial NeoForge port doesn't start on the current NeoForge, so there the branch lives on Fabric; its data is the same and will work on NeoForge as soon as a working Farmer's Delight comes out. On Minecraft 1.21.1 the branch works on both loaders: the official Farmer's Delight on NeoForge and Refabricated on Fabric. Without the mod the branch's items carry a red "Needs" line and the Codex chapter Kitchen of Currents is locked.
With Farmer's Delight the herbs and trees of the flux world go to the kitchen, and the kitchen goes into a fluxionist's work: a dish for the day raises an aptitude, spices season food along the Wheel, a brew clears murk, a feast calms Dissonance.
Board and pot
- The board with an axe strips logs and wood of weeping willow and lumenash; from lumenash — also
Lumenash Bark. - The board with a knife grinds the mod's herbs into spices — two per herb.
- The cooking pot cooks the branch's dishes; an
Ember Orb under it heats it like a stove or a campfire. A lit
Farmer's Delight stove is a gentle heat for the Crucible.
Current spices
| Spice | From | Pinch |
|---|---|---|
| Emberbell | ||
| Rippleleaf | ||
| Lumenash Catkins | ||
| Glowbloom |
Put spices with any food on a crafting table — up to three pinches, like Current Grit. The pinches add up along the Wheel: Ember
Pepper with pollen —
Spark (strength), rippleleaf with pollen —
Drift (speed); 15 seconds per pinch.
Aptitude dishes
Whoever eats one holds an aptitude a step higher for 8 minutes (no higher than the fifth). One table at a time: a new dish removes the previous step.
| Dish | Aptitude | Food |
|---|---|---|
| Acuity — the Loupe reaches further and faster | 2, drinkable when full | |
| Intellect — more notes | 8 | |
| Might | 12 | |
| Finesse | 10 | |
| Patience | 6 | |
| Will | 7 | |
| Poise | 8 |
What each aptitude gives in the mod's systems — the Aptitudes guide.
Remedies and plain food
Lumenash Brew removes Silting, Clouding and Spreading Clouding; drinkable when full, the bottle stays.
Emberbell Stew — 10 food and a minute and a half of Fire Resistance.
Glowbloom Tea — three minutes of Night Vision.
Feasts for four
A feast is set on a table; servings are taken with a bowl, the last one takes the tray as well. A whole feast can be picked up only while it hasn't been started.
Hush Feast — a serving gives Hush for 3 minutes; eaten without moving, it also removes all Ripple and
2 Dissonance. Its base is
Hush Broth: the Crucible brews it on Farmer's Delight bone broth (Still 2, Soul 2,
gentle heat).
Diviners' Feast — Acuity and Intellect together for 12 minutes: a Loupe round for four.
Wayfarer's Feast — Farmer's Delight "Nourishment" and Might for 12 minutes: for the road through the mod's worlds.
Silt Compost
Silt Compost (Farmer's Delight organic compost, 2 Silt, bone meal) drinks the murk of its chunk — up to 0.3 per random
tick — and ripens into Farmer's Delight rich soil. Silt from a Settling Vat finds a use; over its life the compost drinks about 2 murk.
It doesn't rot in the Stillness.
